A reminder as you plan for the coming weeks: Tuesday, Nov. 3, is a teacher workday, and students at our traditional schools will not attend school. Early College students will be on a normal schedule.
Many of our school facilities will serve as voting precincts on election day across the county. Voter information, including all precinct locations, is available on the Cabarrus County Board of Elections website.
If you’re heading to the polls that day, the proposed $340 million school bond will also be on the ballot. You can review the projects and estimated tax impact at www.engagewithccs.com/bond26.
Now, here's this week’s Friday Five.🖐️

As we wrap up School Bus Safety Week, we're shining a spotlight on the team working behind the scenes to keep CCS moving!
Our CCS Transportation Garage team works hard each day to keep our buses running safely and smoothly! With 25,365 miles traveled daily by our yellow school buses alone, there's a lot that goes into keeping our fleet on the road!
From mechanics and fuelers to dispatchers, parts staff, and supervisors, each member of this team plays an important role in keeping our buses ready to roll! We're grateful for ALL the dedicated team members whose hard work helps keep our students moving safely each day! Just one of the many teams working behind the scenes to keep CCS running smoothly!
